When you are dinking at the Non-Volley Zone or Kitchen Line, it is imperative that you are in the Pickleball Ready position. Make sure (1) your feet are shoulder width apart; (2) your knees are bent, your body is compressed, and your weight is on the balls of your feet; (3) your paddle is in the 10 or 11 o’clock position (or 2 or 1 o’clock position if you are a lefty); and (4) your paddle is pushed forward with your paddle head up.
